WhatsApp is expected to gain a new feature for its integrated camera in the coming weeks. According to WABetaInfo, Meta is developing new camera effects that will allow users to personalize their photos with fun elements, similar to what we’ve seen in video calls recently.
Fun Innovations for WhatsApp Users!
The option to enable WhatsApp camera filters will be located next to the shutter button, which features a magic wand icon. Tapping this button will display the current filters available in the app, including skin smoothing, low-light mode, warm and cool tones, fisheye lens, scattered lighting, and more.
WhatsApp is also integrating the option to change the background of the image, allowing users to blur the background. Additionally, it will be possible to replace it with predefined images that are already available during video calls.
To test the new effects, you will need to have version 2.24.20.20 of WhatsApp Beta for Android installed on your phone.
What do you think about this new feature?
